| ViA Card Products |
ViA Card
The ViA Card is the basis of what ViA will offer as a card product.
ViA will have different designs and we may introduce different product features to the
different designs.
A ViA Card works and can be used primarily wherever a consumer can find a ViA Merchant Device which in the future
will also include the so called ViA Cash-Points, a Mobile ViA Merchant who accepts the
ViA Card.
As ViA becomes interconnected to different networks, the footprint of where the
ViA Card will be accepted will increase.
If at an early stage ViA signs up and reaches an agreement with, for example, Maestro or
Visa Net or Cirrus, the
acceptance points would reflect such integration.
ViA Co-branded Cards
A ViA Co-branded Card is a ViA Card printed with a main design provided by an issuing
partner or an organization such as a sports club. |

Co-branded ViA MasterCard / Visa
To be able to reach out with the ViA Card to some customers we need to have an
agreement on where it will be possible to use the ViA Card. If we are not able to reach
an early agreement with one of the network providers, such as Maestro, Cirrus or Visa Net,
as described above, the alternative strategy is to make a Co-branded Master Card with an existing Bank in the UAE.

ViA Merchant
The ViA Merchant is a merchant who signs up and becomes a ViA Merchant. He would then subscribe to the service and would receive a ViA POS Device, under such terms as we would adopt for that region or for such merchant segment. The ViA Merchants receives their settlement instant when a customer uses his or her ViA card in the shop.
The general concept is that the POS Device is given FREE, but this can vary from different countries and from different merchant segments.

ViA eMerchant
The eMerchant is the merchant with NO physical premises, but has a business on the Internet or a service provider. Any internet based service or product provider can subscribe and use the ViA API to accept clear and settle transactions with ViA customers.
